Iridescent NYC’s Executive Director Erika Allison was kind enough to sit down with GIRLS WHO ROCK at Internet Week and share her insights on all things TECH. In the video, she discusses how the the partnership with GIRLS WHO ROCK and Iridescent began, who are her role models, and how the United States could close the achievement gap between girls and boys in the areas of science and technology.
What are you the first in your family to do?
I am the first in my family to help build houses on multiple continents. This summer I’ll reach my 3rd continent building houses with Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program.
