Tunes Tuesday: New Artist Karina Pasian
By the time she was three years old, R&B/Pop singer-songwriter Karina Pasian had begun to play the piano and started learning ballet.
At 12 years old, she performed in Rome with renowned Opera singer Andrea Bocelli, and by 13, Def Jam, Interscope, and Bad Boy Records entered a 10 day war to sign the NYC native to their labels — she picked Def Jam. As a Domincan/Armenian, Pasian was the first person of Domincan decent to perform at the White House, at 15 years old. Pasian, who is the goddaughter of famed music producer Quincy Jones, released her first album and single (16 @ War) at 16. Now 18 and working on her second album, Karina Pasian is set to take the music world by storm and make history yet again.
