GIRLS WHO ROCK
On Friday, June 10th at Gramercy Theater, the strongest voices in technology, entertainment, and design came together under one roof, to fundraise for girls’ education worldwide.
GIRLS WHO ROCK, a concert supporting She’s the First, a non-profit helping girls in the developing world be the first in their families to graduate, will fundraise for the sponsorship of girls at the Arlington Academy of Hope in Uganda.
We are thankful for all of our supporters, artists, partners and rockstars who made GIRLS WHO ROCK 2011 a GIANT success. Through the use of social media, we were able to fundraise $17,000 dollars towards girls’ education. But not only that, YOU, yes you all, gave 29 girls at the Arlington Academy of Hope in Uganda an education, and more importantly, a pathway to success!
