If you missed the concert, you can still contribute to our grand fundraising total — an anonymous donor is matching your contributions to our Razoo page! We’re more than halfway to our online fundraising goal; help us finish!

On Friday, May 18 at Gramercy Theatre, GIRLS WHO ROCK returned to Internet Week New York, connecting entertainment, technology, and design communities to support music, girls, and education with non-for-profit She’s the First, which helps sponsor girls’ education in the developing world be the first in their families to graduate.

This year, the India partner school of She’s the First, Shanti Bhavan, is GIRLS WHO ROCK beneficiary. Shanti Bhavan provides exceptional schooling for young girls crushed by poverty in rural India.

GIRLS WHO ROCK has also partnered with Park Slope Rock School, a non-for-profit school in Brooklyn, emphasizing the craft of original songwriting, helping students work as a band to express themselves musically and lyrically.

GIRLS WHO ROCK is produced by an all-volunteer team of producers and for the first time, we’re proudly sponsored by Umojawa, an online community for social change and civic engagement. This means 100% of your contributions are donated directly to girls’ sponsorships.
